Description

Own and drive the roadmap and complete lifecycle for medium voltage switchgear (MVS) and medium voltage transformers (MVT) used in Amazon data centers—from concept through global at-scale deployment and eventual deprecation. Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts, coordinate design validation and testing, qualify and onboard MV equipment suppliers, and execute design-to-value cost reductions while maintaining performance and reliability. Translate customer and stakeholder needs into product requirements, vision, and delivery strategy, and communicate technical direction to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs

• Experience contributing to engineering discussions on technology decisions and product strategy

• Experience representing and advocating for critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

• Preferred: Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

• Preferred: 7+ years leading large-scale technical/engineering programs

• Preferred: 5+ years working with medium voltage electrical equipment (switchgear/transformers or similar MV products)

• Preferred: 5+ years in data center, utility, or large-scale industrial power distribution environments

• Preferred: Knowledge of IEEE, ANSI, IEC, and UL standards related to medium voltage switchgear and transformers

• Travel: 30%+
