Description

You will design and build the backend for a new e-commerce platform and related systems (orders, diet management, production planning, logistics, and payments). You’ll deliver features end-to-end—from business discovery, through API and database work, to AWS deployment and production monitoring; React/Next.js front-end work is included when needed. You will shape system architecture, work test-first, and help raise team quality through knowledge sharing and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Build backend systems around the e-commerce platform: orders, diet management, production planning, logistics, and payments
• Own features end-to-end: requirements discovery, API and database implementation, AWS deployment, and production observation
• Decide on architecture: modular monolith vs separate services and queues
• Develop with quality in mind by writing tests and maintaining standards while moving quickly
• Improve the team through learning, sharing industry updates, and performing code reviews

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience, including strong Node.js + TypeScript in revenue-generating systems
• PostgreSQL proficiency (transactions, isolation, indexing)
• Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ or similar) and AWS
• Practical familiarity with idempotency, retries, and observability
• Strong architectural judgment across monolith modularization and microservices
• Ownership and proactive communication with the business
• Communicative Polish
• Experience with systems running 24/7 (e-commerce, payments, logistics)
