Description

You will independently develop security principles, technical standards, and actionable roadmaps for an on-prem, cloud-based, and hybrid IT landscape. You will define security standards across cloud, identities, networks, platforms, and endpoints; review new solutions for security risks; and guide architecture decisions through to implementation. You will embed Security-by-Design early in IT, procurement, and transformation projects, support security incidents with architectural expertise, and translate regulatory requirements such as NIS-2 and GDPR into concrete technical measures.

Responsibilities

• Develop security principles, technical standards, and practical roadmaps for local, cloud-based, and hybrid IT
• Define security principles/standards for cloud, identities, networks, platforms, and end devices
• Perform security risk assessments for new solutions and IT initiatives; support architecture decisions until implementation
• Introduce Security-by-Design early in IT, procurement, and transformation projects
• Support security incidents with architectural expertise and derive improvement actions from findings
• Convert regulatory requirements (e.g., NIS-2, GDPR) into technical measures together with IT Compliance and IT teams

Requirements

• Several years of experience in IT security architecture or as a Senior Security Engineer with architecture responsibility
• Strong knowledge of Azure, Entra ID, and cloud and identity security
• Experience with security architecture reviews, technical risk analyses, and evaluating IT solutions
• Understanding of security requirements in local, cloud, and hybrid IT environments
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience implementing them technically
• Ability to communicate technical risks clearly and advise IT teams on architecture decisions
• German C1 and English B2
