Description

Lead complex network security architecture activities: create, develop, and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and best practices. Contribute to secure technical project designs and build next-generation network security strategies. Translate business needs and goals into technical and security requirements, ensuring alignment with the target security architecture through continuous transformation, architecture reviews, and threat modeling.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead complex network security architecture work

• Create and enforce network security architectural standards, patterns, and best practices

• Participate in defining secure technical projects and security standards

• Build and evolve next-generation network security strategy

• Translate business needs and objectives into technical and security requirements

• Collaborate with other architects (infrastructure, cloud, applications, enterprise architecture)

• Ensure designed solutions are consistent with the target network security architecture

• Transform and continuously improve the current network security architecture

• Conduct architecture reviews, threat modeling, and security assessments of projects

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network security

• Higher education in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, or related field

• Experience designing enterprise cyber security solutions for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments

• Experience in a large and complex organizational and technological environment

• Very good knowledge of architectural principles, standards, and best practices

• Advanced knowledge of transport, application, control, and routing protocols and related threats

• Good knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms and protocols

• Knowledge of DDoS protection solutions (Arbor knowledge welcome)

• Knowledge of Zero Trust Network Architecture concepts

• Cloud network security knowledge (AWS preferred)

• Experience designing or implementing Web Application Firewall solutions

• Experience working with Next Generation Firewall solutions

• Experience conducting threat modeling and security project reviews

• Knowledge related to access points, routers, switches, network gateways, bridges, and other network infrastructure components
