Description

You will gather and analyze user needs, then translate them into data warehouse and reporting solutions. The role includes designing and modeling DWH data and processes, identifying source data and creating source-to-target mappings, and preparing/testing SQL prototypes. You will validate functional and non-functional requirements, design system integrations using UML and API/spec tooling (e.g., Swagger), and support developers during implementation with testing and error analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze user requirements and translate them into DWH and reporting solutions
• Design and model DWH data and processes
• Identify source data and prepare source-to-target mappings
• Prepare and test SQL prototypes
• Validate functional and non-functional requirements
• Design system integrations using UML
• Perform detailed integration design using tools such as Swagger
• Cooperate with architects and developers on technical solution choices
• Support developers during implementation of changes
• Run tests and analyze errors
• Coordinate dependencies with other IT teams
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with data and data warehouses in an analyst role
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data modeling and DWH processes
• Very good SQL and relational database knowledge
• Practical data warehousing experience
• Good understanding of integration topics: Web Services, Microservices, SOA
• Experience analyzing functional and technical requirements
• Ability to model IT systems
• UML knowledge
• Enterprise Architect or PlantUML (or other CASE tool) knowledge
• Knowledge of distributed IT system architecture topics
• Minimum 5 years of IT project experience as a systems analyst
• Higher education in IT or economics
• English at least B2
• Fluent Polish
