Description

Implement and operationalize NIS2 requirements and related cybersecurity legislation. Analyze security risks and evaluate the organization’s cybersecurity maturity, while creating and updating security policies, directives, and standards and developing the cybersecurity architecture. Monitor, detect, and handle cyber security incidents, coordinate NIS2-compliant incident reporting, and support audits and legislative compliance; also train employees to improve cybersecurity awareness.

Responsibilities

• Implement NIS2 requirements and related legislation
• Analyze cybersecurity risks and assess organizational cybersecurity maturity
• Create and update security policies, directives, and standards
• Design and develop cybersecurity architecture
• Propose secure IT solutions and connect security technologies
• Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber security incidents
• Coordinate incident reporting and response in line with NIS2
• Prepare for security audits and verify compliance with legislation and internal regulations
• Train employees and increase cybersecurity awareness
• Collaborate with IT, legal, compliance, internal audit, vendors, and NÚKIB

Requirements

• Practical experience in cybersecurity, ideally in public administration
• Knowledge of NIS2, GDPR, the Cybersecurity Act (nZKB), and related legislation
• Experience in managing security risks and designing security measures
• Orientation in security architecture and IT security
• Analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work across the organization and with external partners
• Independence, responsibility, and a systematic approach
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ (advantage)
