Description

You will verify how regulated organizations meet cybersecurity obligations under the relevant legislation, with an emphasis on technical security measures. You will analyze technical documentation, conduct interviews by asking the right technical questions, and collaborate on control/audit conclusions that strengthen the resilience of important services and systems. You will also consult on cybersecurity requirements and support the creation of methodological and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Verify fulfillment of obligations under the Cybersecurity Act (No. 264/2025 Coll.) and related regulations, especially technical security measures

• Analyze technical materials and prepare effective questions for interviews with regulated organizations

• Work with the control/audit team and contribute to drafting conclusions

• Provide consultations on cybersecurity requirements with representatives of regulated organizations, other regulators, and partners

• Contribute to methodological materials and training activities; participate in meetings with national and international partners

Requirements

• University education

• Interest in cybersecurity

• Systematic and analytical approach

• Ability to communicate with different types of organizations

• Independent work style with strong teamwork skills

• Willingness for regular business travel

• Excellent command of Czech

• English at least B1

• Valid driving license category B

Hard/Technical Background (expected fit)

• Understanding of IT or OT security fundamentals and the ability to quickly get up to speed

• Knowledge of network communication and concepts such as segmentation and VLANs; LAN/WAN/MAN; common protocols (HTTP/S, FTP/S, SSH, SMTP, DNS); MAC; IPv4/IPv6; network devices (router, switch, firewall, load balancer); VPN; ACL; and the ISO/OSI model

• Orientation in security tools and how they work (antivirus, EDR/NDR/XDR, SIEM/SOAR, IDS/IPS, IAM/IDM, PAM/PIM)

• Ability to read technical documentation, standards, and security requirements
