Description

You will help deliver automated testing for web, API, and mobile applications for a banking client in a long-term, Agile project. Work includes supporting UAT and building test scenarios and cases based on project documentation. The role focuses on practical automation using Playwright (Java/TypeScript) or Selenium WebDriver (Java) and strong log analysis to diagnose failures.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated tests for web, API, and mobile applications
• Support acceptance testing (UAT)
• Analyze and interpret logs to identify the root cause of defects
• Translate project documentation into test scenarios and test cases
• Work collaboratively in an Agile team

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in test automation
• Practical knowledge of Playwright (Java or TypeScript) or Selenium WebDriver (Java), and Appium
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and mobile applications
• Knowledge and practical use of test pyramid concepts
• Ability to analyze and interpret logs to find bug causes
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with IntelliJ IDEA, Postman, SoapUI, and Git
• Ability to analyze project documentation and create test scenarios/cases
• Experience in an Agile team environment
• Experience supporting and handling UAT
