Description

You will design, build, and maintain automated tests for PHP backend applications, Filament/Livewire components, and REST API integrations in a fintech environment. You’ll validate financial/transaction processes and data integrity by preparing test data and mocks, running contract tests based on OpenAPI, and verifying correctness in PostgreSQL. The role also includes creating quality gates and executing test suites via CI/CD with support from AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated tests

• Automate PHP applications using Pest

• Test Filament/Livewire and run contract API tests based on OpenAPI

• Test integrations with external systems

• Test financial and transactional processes

• Verify data in PostgreSQL

• Prepare test data, seeders, mocks, and fakes

• Build quality gates and run tests in CI/CD

• Maintain the QA environment and co-create the test strategy

• Use AI tools to create and analyze tests

Requirements

• Commercial experience in test automation; independently create, develop, and maintain automated test suites

• Practical PHP experience with Pest for automated test writing

• Knowledge and experience testing Filament/Livewire-based applications

• Very good REST API testing skills, including positive, negative, and edge cases

• OpenAPI experience; ability to prepare and maintain contract tests

• Practical CI/CD experience; integrate and run automated tests in pipelines

• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL proficiency for validating data correctness

• Experience testing integrations with external systems and validating data flow between systems

• Ability to prepare test data and use mocks/fakes to isolate external dependencies

• Ability to effectively use AI tools for test creation, analysis, and development
