Description

You will connect server and infrastructure administration with new AI application possibilities, ensuring secure and reliable operation of AI-enabled apps. The role includes preparing and managing Windows/Linux servers and virtual environments, deploying applications using Docker/Podman, and implementing secure access and networking (HTTPS, permissions). You will also provide monitoring, logging, and backup/restore verification, and explain your approach clearly to IT and AI teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage Windows (and/or Linux) servers and virtual environments for internal and customer applications
• Deploy and run applications in Docker or Podman; manage configuration, updates, and operational troubleshooting with developers
• Set up secure access to applications, network rules, HTTPS, and appropriate permissions for each environment
• Integrate application access with corporate identity management, especially Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
• Ensure basic monitoring, log review, backup processes, and backup/restore verification to detect and resolve issues early
• Explain to customer IT and AI teams how access is managed, data is protected, and applications are kept in operation
• Document and clearly describe configurations and procedures so others can continue the work

Requirements

• Basic server administration (primarily Windows; Linux is an advantage)
• Understanding of virtualization and willingness to learn container deployments with Docker or Podman
• Basic networking knowledge: firewalling, access security, and protection of login credentials
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (user management, access rights, MFA)
• Hands-on experience with at least one AI tool (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to colleagues and customers
• Basic overview of Azure or experience with Google Workspace
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python; Git fundamentals
• Experience with reverse proxy, single sign-on, and/or deployment automation
• Carefulness and interest in growing in AI-related capabilities (not all platforms need to be mastered immediately)
