Description

You will develop and improve KOLEO’s main product, built primarily with Rails, with responsibility for its direction and quality. The role includes creating new backend features and maintaining and enhancing the existing system, supported by CI, test coverage checks, and Ruby style rules via RuboCop. You will collaborate through Pull Requests and long-term engineering decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build new backend features
• Maintain and improve the existing Rails application
• Write and maintain automated tests
• Ensure CI runs tests and verifies coverage
• Follow code quality standards (RuboCop) and collaborate via Pull Requests
• Refactor and improve older, complex, under-tested code when needed

Requirements

• Experience in Ruby programming
• Practical knowledge of Rails
• Ability and habit of writing tests
• Attention to detail
• Desire for continuous growth
• Fluent Polish
• Engineering approach to problem solving and openness to learn and take on challenges
