Description

You will be the technical owner of UniFi, owning the architecture, AWS estate, release quality, and the engineers who build the product. This is a hands-on leadership role—at least half your week is in the code and console—focused on keeping the platform fast, stable, and shipping predictably. You will also ensure the ERP connectors and posting engine (the platform differentiator) are reliable.

Responsibilities

• Own UniFi architecture: .NET services, React frontend, PostgreSQL on Aurora, SQL Server, and AWS
• Own platform performance and stability: deliver a diagnosis in your first six weeks and a dated fix plan
• Own the AWS estate with the DevOps engineer: environments, cost, monitoring, backups, and deployment pipeline; reduce AWS spend without downtime
• Run the release train: fortnightly releases with QA sign-off, written release notes, and working rollback
• Lead, hire, and develop engineers: engineering standards, code review, and growth
• Own ERP connectors and the posting engine with the back-end engineer: SunSystems, NetSuite, and the Data Connector
