Description

Join a team building a next-generation, passwordless authentication platform used by millions worldwide, leveraging advanced biometrics to secure digital identities and enable seamless access. Work with TypeScript and Node.js (plus some React), taking ownership of how backend solutions are designed and built. The team uses AI tools in daily work to improve coding, testing, documentation, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend architecture and technical decisions end-to-end for complex challenges
• Develop secure authentication capabilities as part of the platform
• Collaborate with the team across the stack when frontend input is needed
• Define backend testing strategies and drive quality improvements
• Use AI tools effectively while critically evaluating outputs and guiding adoption
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders in English and Polish

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building digital products as a Backend Engineer (or similar)
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript to guide best practices
• Extensive hands-on experience with Node.js (NestJS)
• Ability to take end-to-end ownership and work across the stack as needed
• In-depth understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (modeling, optimization, selection)
• Deep understanding of HTTP and REST APIs and modern web communication patterns
• Backend testing experience with ability to define testing strategies
• Ability to use AI tools effectively across the development lifecycle with critical evaluation
• Excellent communication in English and Polish
