Description

You will build, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable environments for containerized applications. The role includes ensuring production continuity, resolving operational incidents, automating processes, and overseeing security and configuration of production systems. You will monitor systems and applications, analyze logs, and recommend improvements to increase availability and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production environments and resolve incidents operationally

• Build, deploy, and maintain containerized applications

• Manage Docker/Podman and the lifecycle of container images

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or equivalent)

• Automate administrative tasks using Ansible, Bash, or Python

• Configure networking, manage certificates and access, and implement production security mechanisms

• Monitor and diagnose systems/apps; analyze logs to identify failure causes

• Implement corrective actions and recommend improvements for higher availability and resilience

• Collaborate with development and platform teams on application architecture and business processes

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Linux System Administrator (mid-level)

• Strong Linux skills, especially RHEL 8/9

• Experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift

• Practical experience with ELK / OpenSearch (Elasticsearch and Kibana) for monitoring and log analysis

• Experience delivering containerized applications and managing container images

• Knowledge of GitOps (ArgoCD, FluxCD)

• Experience with secret management tools (HashiCorp Vault or equivalents)

• Experience applying high-availability design principles in practice

• Analytical troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills

• Polish and English at least B2
