Description

You will take ownership of quality by exploring how the application behaves beyond the expected user journey and turning findings into clear tests. The work ensures a reliable experience for users interacting with an AI chatbot and a live agent, balancing manual and automated testing as needed. You will contribute to continuous improvement throughout the development process.

Responsibilities

• Work independently on a complex project involving mobile applications and supporting components
• Test mobile app features, identify potential issues, and validate behavior across devices and screen sizes
• Create and maintain automated tests using Python and Appium; help define and improve testing frameworks
• Test chatbot conversations and the handover to a live agent
• Balance manual and automated testing, including key manual user journeys before important releases
• Maintain high testing standards, report defects, help prioritize them, and follow them through resolution
• Support and guide junior team members in creating clear, well-structured test cases
• Improve testing skills and collaborate with the team using Azure DevOps and GitHub

Requirements

• 8+ years in software testing (manual plus automated)
• 4+ years in test automation framework design and development
• Experience testing mobile applications on Android and/or iOS
• Hands-on experience with Appium and Python
• Skilled in API test automation and CI/CD for systems and infrastructure
• Curious, analytical mindset for designing thorough test scenarios
• Flexibility to balance automation with hands-on manual testing
• Experience working with Azure DevOps and GitHub
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and collaborate
• Fluent English communication and clear, well-structured documentation
• Basic knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases
