Description

You will develop and maintain C++ software, implementing new functionalities and real-time components. The role emphasizes performance analysis and optimization (latency and memory), code modernization/refactoring, and ensuring quality through unit/integration tests and code reviews. You will also troubleshoot defects, support build and maintenance on Linux/Windows, and collaborate with R&D and product teams on requirements and solution design.

Responsibilities

• Develop existing software and implement new C++17/20 functionalities

• Design and develop real-time components (multithreading, synchronization, I/O communication)

• Analyze and optimize performance, reducing latency and improving memory usage while resolving concurrency issues

• Modernize and refactor existing code and participate in architecture design

• Create unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and ensure solution stability

• Develop and maintain software on Linux and Windows, including build processes

• Troubleshoot technical issues and defects

• Collaborate with R&D/Product/technical teams on requirements analysis and solution design

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of software development experience, including advanced commercial C++ experience

• Strong knowledge of C++17/20 (STL, memory management, smart pointers, RAII)

• Experience with real-time systems and multithreading/synchronization

• Experience optimizing performance (bottlenecks, memory, latency)

• Practical experience with Linux and Windows

• Experience with CMake or similar build tools for C++

• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews

• Ability to work with existing codebases maintained by larger teams

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
