Description

You’ll join a small engineering team building a real-time platform that connects physical infrastructure, devices, and backend systems. This is a Staff-level IC role with real ownership of architecture and technical decisions while staying close to the code. The work includes event-driven integrations and distributed systems where performance, reliability, and production quality matter.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve a complex real-time/event-driven backend system

• Contribute to new development and redesign/improvements of existing production systems

• Take ownership of architecture and technical decisions

• Perform production troubleshooting with a focus on performance and reliability

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot

• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka

• Experience with distributed and/or event-driven systems

• Practical experience with AWS and Kubernetes

• Production troubleshooting, performance, and reliability mindset

• Ability to make architectural decisions and take ownership beyond individual tickets

• Strong communication skills and English at C1 level
