Description

You will support and evolve a large-scale international network connecting retail locations across multiple countries. The role emphasizes Cisco-based switching and routing, SD-WAN and connectivity solutions, and administration/troubleshooting of VoIP and DECT systems, along with WLAN design and coverage planning. You will also monitor infrastructure, own incident management and root cause analysis, and contribute to standardization and automation using Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure (Cisco switching, routing, store connectivity)

• Support and improve SD-WAN, firewall, and connectivity solutions using Meraki, VPN, and MPLS

• Administer and troubleshoot VoIP and DECT systems (e.g., Cisco CUCM, CUBE, Ascom)

• Design, operate, and troubleshoot WLAN environments, including coverage planning for offices and retail locations

• Monitor infrastructure using tools such as CheckMK and Meraki Dashboard; ensure performance and stability

• Own incident management and root cause analysis; support escalations and collaborate with internal teams and external partners

• Contribute to automation and standardization initiatives (Infrastructure as Code, documentation, security improvements)

Requirements

• Completed university degree in Computer Science or comparable technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• 3+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering and operations

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking (switching, routing, core/edge infrastructure)

• Experience with Meraki, SD-WAN, and VPN in enterprise environments

• Solid understanding of VoIP systems and WLAN infrastructure, including troubleshooting and design

• Experience with monitoring tools and ITSM processes with structured incident management

• Familiarity with automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is a strong plus

• Strong communication skills in English and Polish; readiness to work in a hybrid model in Katowice
