Description

Join a 24/7 operations team responsible for operating, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting a global cloud service. You’ll focus on reliable and predictable operations by implementing monitoring and automation, supporting Linux systems in a data center, and participating in incident response and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor logging, alerting, and monitoring for system health, performance, and reliability

• Develop and extend automation tooling to improve operational efficiency

• Support hardware and software systems

• Maintain and update documentation for daily operations and procedures

• Deploy, operate, and maintain Linux systems in a data center environment

• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and post-incident root cause analysis

• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve stability, reliability, and performance

• Collaborate with the security team to design and implement security solutions

• Support system upgrades, patching, and security updates

• Contribute to capacity planning and performance optimization

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Linux systems

• Solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, NAT, VLANs, and firewalls (nftables)

• Strong troubleshooting skills and command-line proficiency

• Experience with automation and IaC (preferably Ansible and AWX)

• Ability to work shift schedules for 24/7 operations, including night on-call rotations

• Strong analytical thinking and ability to solve problems independently

• Self-discipline, creativity, and motivation for continuous learning

• English proficiency at least B2 level (verbal and written)
