Description

Lead the software architecture planning, design, and implementation for Electronic Power Steering, Systems Steer-by-Wire, and Software as a Product projects. Analyze customer, system, and safety requirements to derive software requirements, develop embedded software in C compliant with ISO 26262, and integrate components into AUTOSAR-based projects. Maintain architecture and infrastructure decisions, documentation and traceability in line with Automotive SPICE, and interface with cross-functional teams and OEMs to review designs and influence software-impacting design aspects.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, review, and baseline embedded software architecture

• Derive software project requirements from customer/system/safety inputs

• Develop and unit-test embedded C code

• Integrate software components into AUTOSAR-based projects

• Implement the software infrastructure designed by the Software Architecture Team

• Ensure requirements traceability across software development activities

• Participate in and lead design reviews and software process development activities

• Interface with global cross-functional teams and directly with OEMs

• Review system microcontroller technical references and data sheets

• Support quality activities, including preventive and corrective actions

• Participate in maintenance activities related to IATF 16949

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar embedded software architecture/lead role

• Experience with software architecture development

• Experience with AUTOSAR architecture and third-party software stacks (MICROSAR, MCAL, HSM)

• Experience with memory management and diagnostic stacks

• Mandatory experience with Flash Bootloader development and integration (preferably Vector Bootloaders)

• Experience with Vector-based tools (DaVinci Configurator, DaVinci Developer, CANoe, CANape)

• Experience with cross-compilers and cross-assemblers

• Experience with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers (Renesas, Infineon)

• Experience with embedded microcontrollers and common peripherals

• Experience with formal configuration management tools

• Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety concepts and their impact on software development

• Familiarity with MISRA standards and verification tools

• Good English communication skills
