Description

You will design and operationalize complex, business-aligned enterprise architecture target states using capability-based planning, translating abstract visions into concrete system landscapes and migration paths. You will steer large projects along strategic architecture roadmaps within agile or hybrid operating models and moderate alignment across decentralized architects, project leaders, and external partners. You will also support Business Domain Architects with capability maps, domain target states, roadmaps, and consistent enterprise architecture standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide methodical coaching and sparring to decentralized Business Domain Architects for capability maps, domain-specific target states, and roadmaps
• Consolidate partial target states into a consistent overall architecture roadmap; evolve architecture principles and technology guardrails
• Conduct as-is/to-be analyses and provide architectural support for strategic cross-cutting projects to ensure alignment with the IT target picture
• Prepare content for architecture boards and decision documents; coordinate domain target states operationally with enterprise architecture
• Establish uniform modeling standards to reduce workload for the DBA lead and prevent redundancies across domains

Requirements

• Strong enterprise architecture understanding with practical experience in concepting and operationalizing complex, business-oriented architecture target states (capability-based planning)
• Excellent ability to structure and translate abstract target images into concrete system landscapes and understandable migration paths
• Experience steering large projects based on strategic target images within agile or hybrid operating models
• Strong stakeholder management to moderate confidently between decentralized architects, project leads, and external partners
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with a “good enough” approach focused on evolutionary progress
• Very good German and English skills; willingness to work predominantly at the international headquarters in Neckarsulm
