Description

You will develop and maintain the IFF Data Tool application in Python, working with STANAG 4193 requirements. The role includes analyzing functional and technical needs, implementing new features, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with the client’s engineering team and stakeholder meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the IFF Data Tool application in Python

• Analyze functional and technical requirements based on STANAG 4193

• Design and implement new features

• Analyze and resolve technical problems; prepare descriptions for both the team and the client

• Collaborate with the client engineering team and participate in meetings with the customer

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial programming experience or equivalent open-source experience

• 2+ years of Python experience with pytest

• Understanding of concurrency and/or async/await

• Knowledge of databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) with SQLAlchemy-like frameworks

• Proficient Git usage in team work (3+ contributors)

• Strong analytical skills and ability to clearly present problems and solutions

• Openness and good communication within the team

• PSC clearance or readiness to undergo the ABW procedure
