Description

You will develop OroPlatform, OroCRM, and OroCommerce enterprise solutions using PHP and Symfony-based technologies. The work includes designing flexible component architecture, refactoring an extensive codebase, and ensuring performance and scalability for Oro deployments. You will also deliver quality via automated testing and best Continuous Integration practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop OroPlatform, OroCRM, and OroCommerce as enterprise solutions

• Use open-source PHP solutions such as Symfony, Doctrine, Twig, and Oro components

• Plan and evaluate stories with the team and Product Owner

• Design component architecture and interactions to enable third-party customization (Component Lead ownership)

• Refactor and improve existing components using proven software principles such as SOLID and GRASP

• Ensure performance and scalability (Blackfire) for Oro applications deployed in OroCloud

• Test with PHPUnit, Symfony’s Web TestCase (functional), and Behat (integration)

• Implement CI practices with Jenkins, Docker, and GCP

• Improve products by collaborating with the community, partners, and clients

• Share knowledge and support continuous learning and improvement

Requirements

• Strong object-oriented design (OOD) skills

• Strong knowledge of PHP

• Strong knowledge of SQL and MySQL or PostgreSQL

• Experience in database design

• Experience with Laravel and/or Symfony web frameworks

• Experience with PHPUnit

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Basic knowledge of JSON:API and REST

• Good communication skills and independence

• Open to using AI tools
