Description

Work on software applications and services that ensure stores and depots have the products customers need, improving colleague experience and depot efficiency. Contribute to automation initiatives, including shaping solutions supporting Autonomous Mobile Robot adoption in fresh food depots. Build and evolve Java microservices exposed via React applications and REST APIs, using Kafka for messaging/analytics and deploying to Kubernetes/AKS and/or on-prem virtual machines with infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and contribute code
• Proactively propose solutions
• Collaborate with your team and communicate progress to teammates, managers, and wider stakeholders
• Design and review architecture with focus on performance, availability, reliability, and security
• Define features for services owned by your team
• Deliver and support software through continuous integration, delivery, and production operations

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience developing with Java 11+
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Experience with test-driven development
• Experience designing and developing microservices / REST APIs
• Good English communication skills
• Readiness to take part in the on-call rotation
• Based in or near Kraków (60% onsite collaboration)
