Description

Drive daily product testing by reporting and documenting new defects, evaluating fixes, and helping developers reproduce hard-to-trace bugs. Perform regression testing, manage tasks in your scope, coordinate with peers, and communicate daily with the Client’s international QA team, including proposing risk mitigation for your tasks. Follow team practices and continuously develop your professional knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily product testing: report, document, and validate defects and fixes
• Support developers with reproducing difficult bugs
• Run regression testing
• Manage tasks within your responsibility scope and coordinate with the team
• Communicate daily with a foreign Client QA team
• Propose risk mitigation plans for your tasks
• Follow existing team practices and standards
• Own knowledge sharing and your professional development plan

Requirements

• Passion for video games
• English (spoken and written) at least Intermediate level; Upper-Intermediate+ is a plus
• Excellent understanding of QA concepts and debugging processes, including retrieving TTY and output logs for issue reproduction
• 3+ years of testing experience with successful delivery of projects
• Experience testing on Unreal Engine
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team
• Solid experience with JIRA and Perforce
• Plus: strong knowledge and strict following of game development processes
• Plus: full understanding of game design and inter-dependencies
• Plus: experience testing Mobile/PC/Console games (PlayStation, Xbox)
