Description

You will be responsible for the new development, further development, and ongoing support of a modern, service-oriented IT landscape for the health insurance domain. The role includes delivering stable, scalable, and secure software products using modern architectures with relevant IT security considerations. You will implement solutions using modern frontend, cloud, and backend technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• New development, further development, and maintenance of a modern service-oriented IT landscape for health insurance

• Provide stable, scalable, and secure software products based on modern software architecture while complying with IT security requirements

• Implement solutions using modern frontend, cloud, or backend technologies and tools (e.g., Angular, Java, Spring Boot, REST, AWS)

• Collaborate in a modern environment with cross-functional teams while considering IT strategy and architecture standards

Requirements

• Degree in (Business) Computer Science or completed training as a computer specialist with several years of IT experience

• Proven experience building scalable microservices (REST, OpenShift, deployment processes)

• Knowledge of frontend and backend development with Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, and Angular

• Database knowledge in DB2 or Oracle environments

• Structured, independent, proactive, and team-oriented working style

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking; openness to new technologies

• Good communication skills, assertiveness, and confident presence

• German proficiency at C1 level
