Description

This dual degree program builds your expertise in Business Informatics over 7 semesters by combining classroom instruction with hands-on experience at company locations. You’ll learn business and computer science fundamentals, explore programming languages, and use development tools and project-planning methods to work on IT-technical solutions. You’ll also assess economic impacts and IT feasibility, positioning you to act as a translator between IT and business.

Responsibilities

• Learn fundamentals of business administration and informatics
• Explore and apply various programming languages
• Use development tools and methods for project planning, execution, and control
• Estimate individual and overall economic effects of IT-technical problem solutions
• Evaluate whether economic decisions are feasible from an IT perspective
• Work on computer-assisted programs and systems across different perspectives
• Spend ~13 weeks per semester at Quickborn/Rendsburg and attend ~10 weeks of lectures per semester at the Nordakademie in Elmshorn
• Participate in optional study abroad or a practical assignment within the E.ON group
