Description

You will develop and support database structures and objects, write queries and stored procedures, and optimize existing database structure and code. You will also modernize and create new reporting outputs (reports, widgets, dashboards) and help migrate and rework business logic to a new modern architecture across current and new products. You will work closely with analysts and QA.

Responsibilities

• Development and support of database structures and objects

• Writing queries and stored procedures (PostgreSQL, MS SQL)

• Optimization of existing database structure and code

• Modernization and creation of new reports, widgets, and dashboards for Reporting products

• Migrating and reworking current business logic to a new, modern architecture in current and new products

• Working closely with analysts and QA

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with commercial products

• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL

• Strong knowledge of database theory

• Ability to write complex SQL scripts, functions, and stored procedures

• Comfortable reading, understanding, and maintaining existing code

• Flexibility and willingness to learn

• Ownership mindset: reliable, detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to deliver efficiently
