Description

You’ll support the operation of thousands of servers for major internet projects stored in the company’s own data center. The role includes installing and testing new servers, monitoring data center operations, and testing new server technologies and hardware, with close collaboration with system administrators.

Responsibilities

• Install and test new servers in the data center
• Monitor and oversee data center operations
• Test new technologies and server hardware
• Collaborate closely with the system administration team
• Help address client requirements
• Support development and ongoing operation of the full data center, including technical infrastructure

Requirements

• At least basic knowledge of hardware and a basic understanding of Linux
• Knowledge of server hardware (advantage)
• Electrical engineering education that enables obtaining the required electrical qualification per NV 194/2022 Sb. (formerly NV 50/1978 Sb.)
• Willingness to work in shift operations (short/long week) including night shifts
• Independence, carefulness, and responsibility
• Willingness to learn new things
• Manual dexterity (advantage)
• At least basic English knowledge
