Description

In this role, you will manage, maintain, and develop the Atlassian Cloud ecosystem, including Jira and Confluence. You will design permissions, workflows, and automation rules, integrate Atlassian with external tools and databases via REST API and custom plugins/scripts, and optimize the environment for performance and security. You will also monitor platform performance, resolve technical incidents, and define cloud usage best practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and develop Atlassian Cloud platforms (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence)

• Design and implement complex permission schemes, workflows, and automation rules; adapt tools to team requirements

• Integrate Atlassian with external systems and databases using REST API and dedicated plugins/scripts

• Monitor performance, handle technical incidents, and set best practices for using the cloud environment

Requirements

• Several years of practical experience in Atlassian Cloud administration and platform engineering

• In-depth knowledge of Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and Atlassian Access

• Scripting and automation experience

• Practical experience with REST API, webhooks, and system integrations

• Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating environments

• Nice to have: C and Perl

• Nice to have: System monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix)

• Nice to have: Project management certifications or knowledge of PMI/PRINCE2
