Description

Take technical ownership of the development, maintenance, and stabilization of a complex Jira Cloud solution built on Jira Service Management and Jira Software. Configure workflows, request types, custom fields, and forms; manage permissions and notifications; and create and optimize automations in Jira Automation. Diagnose production issues, perform root cause analysis, document changes, and act as a technical escalation point for users.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Jira Cloud environments (Jira Software and Jira Service Management)
• Configure and develop workflows, request types, custom fields, screens, and forms
• Manage permission schemes, project roles, and notifications
• Create, develop, and optimize Jira Automation to support business processes
• Analyze and resolve production problems; conduct root cause analysis
• Support users and serve as the technical escalation point
• Assess change impact on existing configuration and recommend optimal solutions
• Document configuration, automations, dependencies, and system changes
• Participate in migrations and moves of Jira Cloud configuration between environments
• Support testing, deployments, and hypercare activities after releases

Requirements

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience as a Jira Administrator, Jira Specialist, or Atlassian Consultant
• Very good knowledge of Jira Cloud (Jira Software and Jira Service Management)
• Hands-on experience with workflow configuration, request types, custom fields, field configurations, and conditional forms
• Advanced knowledge of Jira Automation
• Experience managing permissions, project roles, and notifications
• Experience maintaining and supporting production environments
• Ability to diagnose issues and perform root cause analysis
• Experience creating technical/configuration documentation
• Independence and ability to assess the impact of changes on existing solutions
