Description

You will drive enterprise architecture work for complex, business-oriented target architecture images, operationalizing them using capability-based planning. You will structure abstract target visions into concrete system landscapes and migration paths, and steer large projects aligned to strategic target visions within agile or hybrid operating models. You will coach decentralized business domain architects, build consistent end-to-end architecture roadmaps, and establish modeling standards to avoid redundancies.

Responsibilities

• Support and sparring for decentralized business domain architects in creating capability maps, domain target visions, and roadmaps

• Combine sub-target visions into a consistent overall architecture roadmap and further develop architecture principles and technology guardrails

• Conduct as-is/to-be analyses and provide architectural support for strategic cross-functional projects to ensure alignment with the IT target vision

• Prepare content for architecture boards and decision documents; coordinate business target visions with the enterprise architecture

• Establish uniform modeling standards to reduce workload for the DBA lead and prevent redundancies across domains

Requirements

• Solid enterprise architecture understanding and practical experience designing and operationalizing complex, business-oriented target architecture images (capability-based planning)

• Strong ability to translate abstract target visions into concrete system landscapes and understandable migration paths

• Experience steering large projects based on strategic target visions within agile or hybrid operating models

• Strong stakeholder management to moderate between decentralized architects, project managers, and external partners

• Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with a “good enough” attitude

• Very good German and English skills and willingness to work predominantly at the international headquarters in Neckarsulm
