Description

Lead the IT Security department and drive the organization’s cybersecurity program with responsibility for the technical security roadmap. You will guide major security initiatives and security architecture decisions, and ensure cyber risks are managed across infrastructure, cloud, identity, Microsoft 365, and AI-related initiatives. You will also oversee security operations, risk management activities, and coordination with IT, networks, business stakeholders, and external security partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity program strategy and maintain a technical security roadmap
• Advise executive leadership on cyber risks, priorities, and security investments
• Serve as senior escalation point for significant security incidents
• Define and maintain security architecture, standards, and technical baselines
• Provide security guidance for infrastructure, cloud, identity, Microsoft 365, and AI initiatives
• Lead implementation and optimization of security technologies and controls
• Ensure security is incorporated into technology projects and modernization efforts
• Oversee security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and MSSP services
• Support compliance, audits, and risk management with Governance and Risk & Compliance specialists
• Monitor security performance, identify gaps, and drive remediation
• Coordinate security activities across IT, networks, and business teams

Requirements

• Experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, engineering, and security operations with proven managerial experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies (Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, Microsoft 365 Security)
• Experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and senior leadership
• Proficient English; Czech language desirable
• Leadership approach based on trust, collaboration, integrity, and a pragmatic hands-on mindset (coaching/mentoring, clear accountability)
