Description

Work across the development lifecycle—collaborating with the product owner, coding, testing, and delivering production-ready features. Architect microservice-based systems, build and consume RESTful APIs, develop backends in PHP using the Symfony framework, and create integrations between systems. Maintain Kubernetes cloud-based infrastructure, prototype proof-of-concepts, and test new stacks and tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the product owner across coding, testing, and delivery
• Architect microservice-based systems
• Build and consume RESTful APIs
• Develop backends in PHP with Symfony
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Test new stacks and experiment with tools and technologies
• Drive PoCs and projects
• Create integrations between different systems
• Maintain Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience
• Strong computer science skills and willingness to learn
• PHP with Symfony framework experience (preferred)
• MySQL or Postgres experience
• Elasticsearch familiarity
• Microservices architecture experience
• RabbitMQ or Kafka messaging
• Docker/Kubernetes, and AWS or Azure familiarity
