Description

Work on designing and implementing Google Cloud Platform-based data solutions for enterprise data lifecycle needs (ingest, store, process, analyze, and visualize). Build scalable, secure Data Lake and Data Warehouse environments on GCP and lead migrations to BigQuery, especially Snowflake → BigQuery. Develop high-performance data pipelines (batch and streaming) and automate infrastructure with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GCP-based data solutions

• Lead Data Warehouse migration projects to BigQuery (Snowflake → BigQuery)

• Design and develop high-performance data pipelines for batch and streaming

• Build and maintain scalable, secure Data Lake and Data Warehouse on GCP

• Design enterprise-grade cloud architectures and support customers across the data lifecycle

• Automate infrastructure and develop CI/CD and DevOps processes

• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and development teams on complex projects

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering solution design, build, and deployment

• Documented experience migrating large data warehouses to BigQuery

• Very strong BigQuery knowledge and practical Snowflake experience

• Experience designing and maintaining Data Lake/Data Warehouse solutions on GCP

• Ability to design scalable cloud solutions and lead technical client projects

• Experience with infrastructure automation, DevOps, and CI/CD

• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification

• Fluent English (mandatory) and German (preferred)

• Willingness for business travel to Germany 1–2 times per month
