Description

Join a project for an international client as a hands-on .NET lead developer. You will lead development across .NET, C#, and Azure applications, improve code quality and reliability, and optimize performance in production. You’ll also mentor developers and work with architecture, QA, DB, DevOps, and product stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development across .NET, C#, and Azure-based applications
• Review and improve code quality, performance, maintainability, and reliability
• Optimize application performance (async/await, EF Core, caching, API design, memory allocation, HttpClient usage, long-running processes, error handling)
• Decompose monolithic functionality into modular components or services
• Collaborate with QA on testability, regression coverage, defect triage, and release readiness
• Mentor mid-level developers and raise engineering standards
• Collaborate with product/business stakeholders to clarify requirements and reduce rework
• Participate in production issue analysis and root-cause reviews

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience
• Strong C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Web API experience
• Strong Entity Framework / EF Core experience
• Strong Azure experience: App Services, Azure SQL, Application Insights, Azure DevOps, CI/CD
• Experience improving performance and reliability in production systems
• Experience leading developers, reviewing code, and setting engineering standards
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
