Description

Own and maintain the architecture of mobile applications throughout the project lifecycle. Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions, make native vs cross-platform recommendations, and define mobile integration patterns (APIs, offline mode, storage/data flows) together with backend and solution architecture teams. Provide technical leadership through developer support, architecture/code reviews, and ensure performance, security, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Mobile architecture ownership across the project lifecycle
• Translate business and product requirements into technical solutions
• Recommend the best approach between native and cross-platform based on constraints and long-term maintainability
• Define mobile-side API/integration patterns, including offline mode and local storage
• Provide technical leadership: support developers, review architecture and implementations, and ensure engineering standards
• Contribute to Sprint 0 and project setup (environments, Git strategy, CI/CD, testing approach, security standards, development tooling)
• Conduct architecture reviews and code reviews; identify technical risks and support their resolution
• Ensure performance, security, scalability, and maintainability requirements are met
• Collaborate closely with Delivery Managers, Product Owners, QA, backend teams, UX/UI, and DevOps
• Support responsible AI-assisted development for development, testing, reviews, and documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of mobile development experience with architectural responsibility (Mobile Architect/Solution Architect/Tech Lead/Senior Mobile Developer)
• Very good knowledge of Flutter and experience delivering production mobile applications
• Good understanding of native iOS and Android development
• Knowledge of Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose
• Practical experience with REST APIs, mobile integrations, offline mode, and local storage
• Good understanding of mobile security, CI/CD, and application build/release processes
• Experience in technical leadership, architecture decisions, and mentoring developers
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify technical risks, and propose pragmatic solutions
• Very good English (written and spoken)
• Interest in digital products, technology, and modern software engineering practices
