Description

You will lead and coach a mixed team of frontend, full-stack, and backend developers while also implementing complex features and integrations with PHP/Laravel. You own architecture decisions and technical standards—ensuring code quality, performance, scalability, and releases from analysis through production operations. You will also explore AI-supported and increasingly agentic development approaches for analysis, development, and quality assurance, with a focus on quality and risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop developers across frontend, full-stack, and backend
• Make architecture decisions and set technical standards
• Implement challenging features and integrations hands-on with PHP/Laravel
• Ensure code quality, performance, scalability, and reliable releases
• Translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions
• Guide solutions from analysis to productive operations
• Improve engineering, quality, and delivery processes aligned with DevOps & platform standards
• Collaborate closely with ERP, WMS, DevOps, BI/Data, and external partners
• Establish modern, AI-enabled development practices with your team

Requirements

• Several years of software development experience, ideally with initial leadership experience
• Very strong knowledge of PHP/Laravel, REST APIs, and MySQL
• Experience with queues, events, and integration patterns
• Experience with scalable service architectures, containerization, CI/CD, and monitoring
• Strong technical judgment and high quality standards
• Ability to translate complex business problems into pragmatic technical solutions
• Openness to AI-supported and agentic software development
• Ability to connect people and technology
