Description

You will use advanced analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, and GenAI to uncover insights and deliver innovative solutions for complex business challenges across Microsoft’s sales, marketing, and support platforms. You will build robust, reusable code for analysis and modeling, develop ML/GenAI models, and lead evaluation of GenAI solutions to diagnose issues and enable improvements such as fine-tuning or reinforcement learning. You will work with stakeholders to translate business needs into measurable objectives and deliver statistically valid and reliable results.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to define measurable objectives and outcomes

• Convert problems into implementation plans, success metrics, and statistically valid results

• Write robust, reusable, extensible code for analysis and modeling

• Develop ML or GenAI-based models using advanced statistical and ML techniques

• Lead evaluation of GenAI solutions, identify root causes, and support fine-tuning or reinforcement-learning fixes

• Use AI-powered tools to accelerate coding, analysis, and other work

Requirements

• Doctorate in a relevant field AND 1+ year data-science experience, or

• Master’s in a relevant field AND 3+ years data-science experience, or

• Bachelor’s in a relevant field AND 5+ years data-science experience, or

• Equivalent experience

• Experience managing structured and unstructured data and applying statistical techniques to report results
