Description

You will join a global controls team supporting AWS data centers by troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis for BMS and EPMS issues. The role includes project management for BMS/EPMS improvements, controls sequence iteration, commissioning support, and end-to-end coordination of scope, schedule, budget, and execution. You will also visit in-operation sites to resolve issues and supervise vendor work for compliance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot BMS and EPMS issues and perform Root Cause Analysis/Corrective Action.
• Train and assist internal customers/stakeholders on BMS/EPMS design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation.
• Provide technical assistance and support to operations across the data center lifecycle.
• Review quarterly maintenance outcomes for BMS/EPMS, resolve action items.
• Develop BMS/EPMS project scope of work, schedule, budget, and Level of Effort (LOE).
• Manage scope, schedule, finance, and execution of BMS/EPMS improvement projects.
• Support procurement activities (RFQ/RFP/RFI review, vendor proposal review, purchase order issuance).
• Participate in global on-call schedule for immediate BMS/EPMS support.
• Attend project meetings, coordinate with project leaders, and report status to Controls/stakeholders.
• Support controls projects related commissioning activities.
• Review, implement, troubleshoot, and iterate the controls Sequence of Operation (SOO); provide feedback to design teams.
• Develop/modify controls logic and graphical user interfaces (GUIs).
• Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables and navigate challenging situations.
• Financially manage BMS/EPMS service contracts.
• Frequently visit assigned in-operation data centers to troubleshoot and supervise vendor compliance with scope, design, SOO, and local codes.

Requirements

• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent; or 5+ years of industrial controls and automation experience.
• Experience with industrial controls in a critical environment (e.g., data center, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemical, laboratory, power, water).
• Minimum 2 years in Controls or electrical construction project coordination with multiple teams/vendors.
• Must meet ITAR compliance requirements.
