Description

You will develop, configure, and maintain a shared Embedded Linux platform used across multiple products. The role emphasizes Linux configuration, integration, patch management, building Linux distributions with Yocto, testing, and release management—rather than typical software development. You’ll work across Linux, Embedded Systems, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Embedded Linux platform
• Create, configure, and maintain Yocto-based Linux distributions
• Integrate Open Source components and manage their versions
• Prepare, maintain, and validate Linux patches
• Build, configure, and customize the Linux Kernel
• Participate in build, test, and release management processes
• Test and validate Embedded Linux-based solutions
• Collaborate with software teams during integration of multi-platform solutions
• Automate build and deployment processes
• Manage code repositories and support code integration and merges
• Maintain tools and processes that support Linux platform development

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Linux and its ecosystem
• Commercial experience with Yocto
• Experience building and maintaining Embedded Linux distributions
• Knowledge of Linux Kernel and its configuration
• Experience with patching, testing, and preparing system releases
• Good knowledge of Bash
• Practical knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of C/C++
• Experience working with embedded systems
• Good knowledge of Git
• Communicative English
