Description

You will design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT processes and data integration/transformations. The role includes translating business requirements into technical solutions, advising on data processing/integration, and supporting migrations and modernization efforts. You will troubleshoot ETL/data quality issues and prepare technical documentation while collaborating with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT processes
• Create and maintain data integration and transformation pipelines
• Build solutions using Informatica PowerCenter, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Microsoft Fabric
• Gather, analyze, and clarify business requirements
• Convert business requirements into technical implementations
• Advise on data processing and integration solutions
• Identify optimization opportunities for existing processes and solutions
• Participate in data environment migrations and modernization projects
• Analyze and resolve ETL process and data quality problems
• Prepare technical and project documentation
• Support technical decision-making for the team

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Consultant, or similar role
• Very good practical knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Experience with Azure SQL
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
• Very good knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of Python
• Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT processes
• Experience in data integration, data warehouse, or data migration
• Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements
• Experience collaborating with clients and stakeholders
• Ability to independently analyze problems and recommend solutions
• Consulting approach to task delivery
• Very good English knowledge for client work and documentation
• Independence, ownership, and ability to work in a distributed environment
