Description

You will design and develop Data Warehouse/Data Platform solutions in Snowflake, creating ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Data Factory and automation using Python. You’ll optimize Snowflake performance and costs, integrate multiple data sources, and support architecture decisions and PoCs. You will collaborate with development, analytics, and business teams as an expert in the DWH/Data Engineering area.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Data Warehouse / Data Platform solutions in Snowflake
• Create and develop ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory
• Develop solutions and automation in Python
• Design development frameworks for Snowflake, ADF, and Python environments
• Develop and maintain data processing processes
• Integrate various data sources and systems
• Optimize processes and performance of data solutions
• Participate in architecture design and technology selection
• Prepare and conduct PoCs for new solutions
• Collaborate with development, analytics, and business teams; provide expert support in DWH/Data Engineering

Requirements

• Strong, practical knowledge of Snowflake
• Experience designing and developing Data Warehouse/Data Platform architecture
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python
• Experience designing ETL/ELT processes in ADF
• Experience optimizing the performance and costs of Snowflake solutions
• Knowledge of data warehouse design patterns (Data Vault 2.0 is a plus)
• Experience conducting proofs of concept (PoCs) and evaluating new technologies
• Ability to provide technical support to other developers and make design decisions
