Description

You will design modern analytics system architectures and support integration of the Databricks cloud platform with an existing Oracle/SAS-based data warehouse. The work includes defining architectural standards, mentoring Data/BI teams, and automating HD/BI build and run processes using CI/CD, GitOps, and DataOps. You will also ensure architectural consistency and support data governance, quality, metadata, and lineage.

Requirements

• Ability to define architectural standards and provide mentoring for Data/BI teams

• Experience designing hybrid architectures (on-premise + cloud)

• Data modeling and data pipeline design experience

• SDLC definition and implementation experience for Data & Analytics

• DataOps-based automation experience for HD/BI development and maintenance

• Knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code

• Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage

• Practical knowledge of Oracle data platforms

• DataOps practices and AI-assisted software creation experience (GitHub Copilot)

• Practical knowledge of UML and BPMN modeling

• Experience modeling systems using Microsoft Azure components
