Description

Drive enterprise architecture development and governance for an international, long-term EU project. Establish EA development and management processes, design and communicate the enterprise architecture, maintain an architectural repository, define transition roadmaps, and support projects with risk management, harmonization, and change management. Analyze portfolios, business processes, metrics, and maturity to recommend improvements and ensure architectural compliance.

Responsibilities

• Establish processes for enterprise architecture development and management

• Support programs and projects with planning/control, risk management, harmonization, change management, and architectural compliance

• Consult on and develop organizational architectural capabilities and architecture management initiatives

• Design and communicate enterprise architecture; maintain an architectural repository

• Design interoperability and interfaces between systems; elicit and analyze needs and requirements

• Translate business, user, and technical needs into architectures; map goals, benefits, priorities, components, and system features

• Define transition roadmaps; prepare system documentation and presentations

• Collect and interpret system metrics; support projects implementing EA elements

• Assess architecture maturity; analyze organizational structures, information systems portfolio, business processes, and IS cost/benefits

Requirements

• Experience performing the role of Enterprise Architect in an organization

• Hands-on experience building EA culture and practices across the organization

• Expert enterprise and business architecture design background

• Knowledge of business process development, value streams, and capability maps design

• Good knowledge of enterprise architecture domains

• Knowledge of maturity model analysis and frameworks

• Proficiency with systems modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect and ARIS Architect (or similar)

• Familiarity with architecture standards/frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well-Architected (or similar)

• Expert understanding of computer science and IT to research solutions and improve operations

• At least 1 relevant certification: Open CA, Zachman Certified – Enterprise Architect, CISSP-ISSAP, ITIL v3 Master (or equivalent), CCBA (or internationally recognized equivalent)
