• Project: Develop and modernize a TMS system managing 300k+ payment terminals from multiple hardware vendors

• Work mode: On-site (5 days/week) in Warsaw

Description

You will support the development and modernization of a Terminal Management System (TMS) used to standardize terminal operations and configuration across vendors, integrated with multiple internal and external services. You will design, implement, document, and test application components within a distributed, integration-heavy environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement application components

• Document and test developed components

• Integrate systems (internal and external) using APIs and other integration methods

• Work with distributed architectures and existing/legacy code

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Java 8+ and object-oriented programming

• Experience designing, implementing, documenting, and testing application components independently

• Practical knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and JEE

• Practical knowledge of queue/message systems, especially RabbitMQ

• Experience with the software development toolchain: Maven, Git, GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Nexus, Jira

• Knowledge of relational databases, especially Oracle

• Practical experience in RESTful API design

• Experience integrating systems

• Experience working with distributed systems

• Experience with JBoss/WildFly application servers

• Ability to work with existing code and legacy systems

• English proficiency at least B2
