Description

Design, develop, and maintain database and data-integration solutions. Build and optimize ETL pipelines and Apache NiFi dataflows, tune PostgreSQL performance for large data volumes, and implement REST APIs in collaboration with frontend teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases

• Design and implement REST API

• Design and build dataflows in Apache NiFi

• Create and develop ETL processes

• Optimize databases and SQL queries for large volumes of data

• Model data and prepare data structures for new solutions

• Analyze and define API, database, and infrastructure requirements

• Tune database environment performance

• Automate selected processes using scripts

• Collaborate with project teams on design and deployment of new solutions

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience with relational databases

• Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL (or other relational databases)

• Minimum 5 years of experience building ETL processes

• Expert knowledge of Apache NiFi

• Experience designing and implementing Apache NiFi dataflows

• Very good knowledge of ETL and data processing concepts

• Advanced data modeling

• Experience designing and implementing REST API

• Experience optimizing databases and SQL query performance

• Ability to work with large volumes of data

• Basic Python knowledge for scripting

• Knowledge of Linux and Bash

• Analytical thinking

• Independence and accountability

• English level at least B2
