Description

You will support software quality assurance and test automation by creating and executing well-designed test cases and taking a user perspective through targeted UI tests. You will also help automate test processes using Tricentis Tosca and contribute to stable releases through defect analysis, validation of energy-industry processes, and regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Test software thoroughly with well-thought-out test cases to ensure applications work reliably and meet high quality standards

• Use automation intelligently with Tricentis Tosca to make test processes more efficient and future-ready

• Perform UI tests for web applications and specialist interfaces to improve the user experience

• Analyze and test interfaces and data flows so information is processed safely and correctly

• Support release quality by analyzing defects, validating energy-related processes, and running regression tests

Requirements

• Ongoing studies in Informatics, Business Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a comparable degree, with the desire to apply knowledge in practice

• Interest in software quality, test automation, and digitization, and enthusiasm for modern IT solutions

• First experience with software testing or programming knowledge

• Structured and analytical working style to identify root causes and work on tasks in a goal-oriented manner

• Interest in data processing and technical processes; ideally first knowledge in software development, scripting, or energy-industry systems and processes
