Description

Lead AI engineering strategy and execution at the forefront of Generative AI, applying large language models to improve fraud detection, streamline decision authoring, automate customer communication workflows, and optimize performance. Set the technical vision and governance for robust, scalable, and responsibly managed AI systems while leading a high-performing engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and coach an engineering team; recruit talent and set hiring strategy

  • Drive design and implementation of AI solutions for decision automation, fraud detection, and process optimization

  • Partner with stakeholders and product managers to translate business priorities into engineering roadmaps

  • Define best practices for model evaluation, governance, and monitoring

  • Build systems for continuous model monitoring, A/B testing, backtesting, and drift detection

  • Collaborate with UX, product, and engineering leaders to deliver a cohesive user experience

Requirements

  • 15+ years of industry experience in software, machine learning, or data engineering

  • Proven experience building and leading engineering teams delivering advanced AI solutions

  • Deep expertise in Large Language Models applied to decision automation, fraud detection, and process optimization

  • Hands-on experience with model fine-tuning, in-context learning, and custom evaluation frameworks

  • Strong experience with backtesting, A/B testing, and drift detection for production performance

  • Solid understanding of model monitoring, governance, and compliance for responsible AI at scale

  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in AI-driven decisioning environments

  • Working knowledge of modern software engineering practices and design patterns

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field
