Description

Join a team developing business applications for the financial and insurance sector using service-oriented architecture and APIs. You will create and run manual test scenarios for REST web services (API and frontend), document results, and manage/track defects. You will also support regression testing before production deployments and assist business users during UAT.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test scenarios and test cases for business applications

  • Perform manual tests of applications based on web services (REST API and frontend)

  • Document the course and outcomes of tests

  • Report, analyze, and manage defects

  • Report test results

  • Collaborate with analysts and developers to diagnose and resolve issues

  • Prepare tools and scripts supporting analysis and testing

  • Maintain and evolve existing test scenarios

  • Run regression tests before production releases

  • Support business users during acceptance testing (UAT)

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester

  • Basic knowledge of test automation

  • Practical knowledge of SQL

  • Experience testing REST web services-based applications

  • Familiarity with Postman or Insomnia

  • Knowledge of Jira, Xray, and Confluence

  • Ability to work with JSON and create test data

  • Experience analyzing business and functional requirements

  • Ability to create test cases and test scenarios for business applications

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Git and Jenkins

  • Experience writing test scenarios in Gherkin

  • ISTQB certification

  • Knowledge of BDD methodology

  • Knowledge of SDLC

  • Ability to search and analyze data in Elasticsearch

  • Experience working with Apache Kafka

  • Experience testing banking, insurance, or other financial systems

  • Basic programming skills in Java

  • Experience working in Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
